I understand that L2 rollups fix a lot of problems—Arbitrum and Optimism are genuinely great pieces of tech—but bridging assets back and forth is an absolute nightmare for average users. Why deal with highly fragmented liquidity pools across multiple rollups when another chain handles everything natively on layer one? Am I being completely blinded by recency bias and cheap swaps? Do the occasional validator outages entirely disqualify the SOL network from claiming the top spot over a long enough timeline?
